Welcome to #3rdfor3rd where I share books that my third graders recommend for other third graders. (Please note that my third graders read a wide variety of books across a wide variety of genres, levels, and topics. Do not think that these books are "only" for third graders.) Owl Diaries

Book recommendation by Ava.

My book is called Owl Diaries. In the book Eva wants to celebrate the first day of spring so she decided to have a festival and she is calling it the treetop festival. During the festival, there are lots of contests like a bake-off, a talent show, and an art exhibit. I recommend this book to Umber and people who like birds and short chapter books.

Book recommendation by Pragya.

Owl Diaries Eva's Treetop Festival is by Rebecca Elliott. This one of her early chapter book. It does have pictures but I think it is just a nice time passing book to read. This book is basically about an owl named Eva and does not like being bored. But she got bored one day so she went to ask her best friend Lucy what to do. When Lucy said she is planting flowers for spring Eva got an idea about a Bloomtastic festival. I think this is a good book because it is different and it is about spring and flowers and love spring flowers. My favorite quote is we always celebrate holidays in our classroom.

I recommend this book to whoever likes festivals and being busy. I give this book five stars!
