TBR

I got back Sunday afternoon from this year's NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) Conference. So many wonderful ideas and inspiration to take it - I hope to get a post up shortly with some initial thoughts.

The photos above are the newest editions to my TBR pile, courtesy of the conference. I hope to get several read and blogged about in time for next week. Until then, happy reading!

  2. For me, all those lovely additions to the TBR stack are negatives about attending conferences. I have no will power and explode my TBR stack every time. They look like a bunch of good ones though. Here is what I read last week. Happy reading!

    1. Ha ha, thanks Kathy! Luckily we had driven to the conference, so I wasn't one of the many teachers waiting in line at the UPS store to ship boxes of books!

  3. I had hoped to pick up Funny Bones but somehow never got to the publisher. I do love Tonatiuh's work. Really interesting and innovative art. Did you get a chance to hear Cynthia Lord speak? She's always so inspiring!

    1. I caught the end of Cynthia's presentation with Alyson and Linda Mullaly Hunt. Had a great session with Duncan Tonatiuh all about his work and inspiration. Haven't sat down with Funny Bones but am looking forward to it!
