#SOL17 Snow at Recess = No 13/31

2017 is the tenth year of the Slice of Life Story Challenge hosted by Two Writing Teachers, The goal is to write and post a "slice of life" story every day during the month of March. My seventh graders are also participating in a slimmed down version of the challenge, writing 10 slices during the month.

Slice of Life:
Snow at Recess = No

No, you may not play tackle tag and throw each other down into the snow.

No, you may not throw snow at each other.

No, you may not throw snow in the air.

No, you may not put snow on the slide to make it faster, especially when someone is right in the middle of going down said slide.

No, you may not intentionally fall down in the snow when you aren't wearing snow pants.

No, you may not jump off the top of the climbing net and assume an inch of snow will cushion your fall.

No, you may not play tag on the hanging bridge that is too slippery for you to stand up on without assistance.

No, you may not fill a traffic cone up with snow and attempt to dump it on a friend's head.

No, you may not steal hats from girls and try to get them to chase you.

Yes. You may line up to go inside for lunch.

  3. It was Crazy Town with all the snow today! The only thing that could have made this the perfect storm was if today was a Friday (the 13th) and if there was a full moon. Ahhh...the joys of working with little ones.

    1. Oh, trust me, the 13th + full moon (even without Friday) was MORE than enough for craziness.
